It’s a great way to learn how to use the model and Microsoft

A personalized “2-month” - free trial offer
of the Dental Practice Financial Calculator
(including all instructions) will be e-mailed to you in an attached
Microsoft Excel file within 24 hours. This free
trial offer of our Excel template customized for
dental practices is formatted to allow you to enter two months
of your practice financial and productivity
data. (There are no time restrictions in using this trial offer
of our software.)
The Excel model of the Dental Practice Financial
Calculator that will be e-mailed to you can also
be used to calculate an estimate of the Fair-Market-Value
of your dental practice. To use this free trial offer Excel
file to calculate the FMV of your dental practice you
only have to use “one” of the “two” monthly
data input periods available for use to enter monthly data. (Only
one period is required to fully run the model) Calculating an
estimate for the FMV of you dental practice is achieved by entering
your best “estimate” in the cells for both
the Financial and Productivity data input software
segments. (There are only 28 financial data fields and
three productivity data fields for each dentist and hygienist
that is entered.)
Your estimate should be based upon the practice's current or
anticipated level of business and expenses. You also have to enter
your Manpower practice data in the Excel
template the same as you would when using this Excel Model
for the “2-month” - free trial offer.
One of the five primary functionality
features in our Excel template customized for dentistry
is the ability to estimate the fair market value of a
dental practice. Allowing our current “2-month”
- free trial offer of the Dental Practice Financial
Calculator Microsoft Excel file that has no time
restrictions represents a strategic change in our marketing
strategy. Prior to 2009, our free trial offer Excel template was
offered for only 30-days. (The prior free trial offer
Excel file included VBA coding that restricted the time
that you could use the Excel model to only 30-days.)
Our current marketing strategy for our Excel
model is now to offer the FMV functionality feature in
our Excel model free to anyone.
In addition to our free telephone support for the Dental
Practice Financial Calculator, we also offer technical services

Below is information about the unique structure
used in all three copies of the Excel
model that is maintained and updated.
1. The Excel file that is sold for a one-time
license fee of $399 and e-mailed
to new customers.
2. The Excel file that is named the Practice
Model. It can be downloaded free
from the Web site.
3. The Excel file formatted for the “2-month”
- free trial offer.
All three files are exactly the same except for
a few minor cell formatting changes. (The last
two free Excel files
are a great way to improve your Excel skills.) There
is no difference in these Microsoft Excel files than
any other Microsoft Excel file you have saved on your
computer. These Microsoft Excel files are 7.5 MB. (To
put this in perspective, TurboTax 2008 is 443 MB).
The strategic plan is to upgrade the Web-site
once a quarter, and release one new fee annual
model upgrade to license clients. Some
of the quarterly upgrades include new software segments
that provide additional functionality or adds value.
The model is designed to allow copying data
from one Excel file to another easily. Free
telephone support is offered to anyone. The goal
is to continue to improve the model with every annual
model release. The vision was to create a strategic
financial model in Microsoft Excel that
could be adopted as a standard financial model
for dentistry.
Our aspiration is to exceed your expectations – in software
and free customer telephone support.
Thank you for your interest in our software.
